Voluntary Return and Exchange Policy

Under Swiss law, there is generally no statutory right of cancellation or return for purchases made in the online store. However, Gedenklicht c/o ARSERIT GmbH voluntarily grants individual customers a 14-day right to return or exchange merchandise, effective from the date of receipt.

Returns

The merchandise must be returned to us or dropped off at our location in Bütschwil within 14 days of receipt. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to hand over the return shipment to the shipping provider in a timely manner.

It is not necessary to notify us in advance of the return.

Returned items must be in perfect, complete, unused, and saleable condition.

If available, the items must be returned together with their original packaging, labels, accessories, and all included components.

Costs and Risks of Returning an Item

The customer is responsible for the costs and shipping risks associated with the return.

We recommend that you pack the items carefully and use a shipping method that includes tracking.

In the event of an incorrect shipment or a valid complaint regarding defective merchandise, Gedenklicht c/o ARSERIT GmbH will cover the necessary return shipping costs.

If you return an item in person at our location in Bütschwil, there are no return shipping costs.

Refund

Once the returned merchandise has been received and inspected, the purchase price paid for the returned items will be refunded.

Refunds are generally issued via the payment method used when placing the order.

The cost of the original shipment, as well as any costs for additional shipping or services, will not be refunded in the event of a voluntary return.

In the event of an incorrect delivery for which Gedenklicht c/o ARSERIT GmbH is responsible, or a valid complaint regarding defective merchandise, the customer’s statutory and contractual claims remain reserved.

Exclusion from the Voluntary Return Policy

The following items, in particular, are excluded from the voluntary right of return and exchange:

  • items that are custom-made, personalized, or procured according to customer specifications;

  • candles that have already been used or are burned down;

  • damaged, soiled, or unsellable items;

  • Items from which labels, seals, or essential components have been removed.

The exclusion from the voluntary right of return and exchange does not affect the rights regarding defective or incorrectly delivered goods.
